“Lights, Zoom, Action!” Have you ever been curious about what your colleagues do to engage their students in the online classroom? Join us in the open classroom observations – a signature scheme in the Festival! We will offer you opportunities to experience as authentically as possible the class taught and facilitated by a colleague with excellent strategies and techniques to engage their students.
This Open Classroom Observations scheme is exclusively for HKU teachers. Please check out the following descriptions of the courses and sessions. Welcome to enrol as many sessions as you wish.
For specific sessions with a maximum observation capacity (see the remark on the registration page), enrolment will be on a first come, first served basis.
Please also note there are some observer rules:
- The observer will keep the Zoom link (or other access means) to himself or herself and not distribute it to any third party without permission.
- The observer will not make any recording of the class without permission.
- The observer will follow the instructions given by the teacher on class participation, e.g. how and when to participate, whether to enter a breakout room, when to interact with students (if applicable).
